A presentation to all members of the radio of our intention to attain medium wave broadcasting.
A lot of the presenters which were there that morning were sceptical of our plans. In the next twelve months the help and assistance shown only amounted to 5 presenters out of the 26.

A phone call from Trevor Kensall indicating a substantial donation of £1000 from Bracknell Baptist church is more than likely.
This was the first indication that we were likely to receive major support.

Information which was passed to the secretary confirms the support of the application for a grant from the Windsor & Maidenhead council, will be accepted. He advises writing to the Ascot Fire brigade trust for additional support.

All the preliminary work for the costing and information of the medium wave service had been conducted by letter. This was the important site meeting where a quotation on the actual installation would be made.

First of two fundraising evenings at the old Windsor working men's club arranged by a patient from ward one. A dear lady who was keen to repay the wonderful treatment she had received in ward one arranged for these two evenings on consecutive Fridays. lt was ironic that she couldn't listen to the radio during her stay because ward one's bed-head system didn't work. Her assistance was prompted by the appeal poster.
