Rhapsody Promotes Foster Pet Scheme

Radio Heatherwood's Rhapsody news and information service proves it's worth
from today as it promotes a local charity group. The Bracknell foster pet
scheme is dedicated to providing pet care for people who will be
hospitalized for a few days. Rhapsody Information service will advise
patients how they can use the service.
Rhapsody provides news music and Information 24hrs a day 7 days a week.
The Official launch after the midday news, invited listeners to stay
listening during their stay and a short introduction from the station
engineer described the workings of the Rhapsody service.
The first record played was Simon & Garfunkel's Sound of Silence.
Station Manager Dave Smith thanked the sponsors for their continued support
of the radio service.
Sylvia Dungate Presenter from Tuesday nights was their to help with the
presentation and writes her own thoughts on how Rhapsody has changed the
way she views her role at Heatherwood.
Radio Heatherwood has completed trials of it's Rhapsody broadcast Service.
Rhapsody is already delivering services everyday 4pm till Midnight.
The planned move to 24 hours a day will commence at 12 noon
on Saturday 7th June
Radio Heatherwood has completed the installation of it's computerized
music service ( Rhapsody ). Test Transmissions will commence on 5th to 7th
April and a full service will commence by June 7th.
This is good news for the patients of Heatherwood but means a
lot of work for the volunteers to be ready with the new program schedule.
