Georgia USA Trudy Writes:-
Hello my Name is Trudy and I live in Georgia USA...my father was admitted last night and being so far away I worry about him so much. My mum is having a hard time figuring out how to get there to visit so he is alone ...Please tell him I love him and am thinking of him....He is 80 years old and was in Burma during the II world war he has many stories to tell and is never shy to tell them :)
His name is Ron he is in ward 3 bed 9.
Thank you so much. Please play him an appropriate song from me and tell him I miss him very much.
We duly went on to ward 3 and found Ron who was very nostalgic and tearful when we passed the message on. He was extremely grateful to us and asked us to play Begin the Beguine as it held special memories for him. We went back later on to give him a mug and he was still thanking us.
A confirmation was sent to Trudy.
"I thank you very much he hasn't stopped talking about it
...It's amazing how something so simple can mean so much to someone"
Thank you for your help in cheering him up when your this far away it's great to know people such as yourself are there.

Hello Radio Heatherwood. I would like to send a message to My Friend/Relative in Heatherwood shirley, Marthe. Jo, all patients and staff on ward 4.
I was a patient on ward 4 until this morning. I received great treatment, and met some very nice people. I would like you to dedicate any appropriate song of your choice to Shirley, Marthe Jo, and all patients and staff.
Also, many thanks for playing my request last night of The Girl From Ipanema.
Kind regards to you all, and much appreciation.

Melbourne Australia Gillian D Writes:-
I have just found out that my father has been admitted to Heatherwood hospital, yesterday morning I believe His name is Dennis.
I was wondering if you could dedicate a song to him. I am sure he would appreciate any music you could pick for him (rap excluded)! I spoke to him on the phone a couple of hours ago and he was in good spirits and was saying how well he has been looked after.
I am unable to visit him due to the tyranny of distance as I live in Melbourne, Australia, and have done since 1981, unfortunately I have been unable to come back to the UK since then but he has been over several times and met up with his grandchildren, Hannah, Garth and Karla. We wish him all the best, a speedy recovery, and a lot of love naturally.
Thanking you in anticipation
