The hospital radio service relies on the support of the local community to maintain it’s services. The following are just some of those who have helped in the past.

Prince Philip Trust, Ascot Fire Brigade Trust, Victoria Hall Fund, Sunninghill Fuel Allotment Trust, Windsor & Maidenhead Council, Sunninghill Parish Council, Bracknell Baptist Church, Winkfield Parish Council, Castle Educational Trust, Bracknell Forest Borough Council, League of Friends, Heatherwood & Wexham Park Trust, Ascot Racecourse Authority, 3M, BMW, Racal, John Nike, Crowthorne Rotary, Shepherds, plus many more: including members of the public and former patients.

Cheques or P/O’s should be made payable to Radio Heatherwood.

Each year before the radio station can actually play a record, we have to pay a licence fee to *OFCOM( £225 ), in addition we have to pay for the maintenance of the inductive loop system( £220 ) plus a further £232 to the **PPL people, over £677. This money has to be raised each year so that we may continue our services.

The radio station needs the support of the local community for it’s survival. If you would like to help or you would like further details, A letter or email are always welcome.
