Radio Heatherwood Building Work Commences May 2000

At the end of April beginning of May 2000 the first of the work to convert the old medical records building was commenced. Work progressed by the hospital throughout May June and early July.

The hospital were responsible for providing essential services and the actual layout of the rooms. Radio Heatherwood staff were responsible for the move of equipment and the installation of all transmission equipment. Wiring commenced in June 2000 by the station engineer and the last of the jobs related to the move were not completed until April 2001.
